4 out of 5 women suffer from PMS, with anxiety, irritability, sadness and water retention. What can be done? Usually you think some chocolate may help.. WRONG!
To get rid of PMS you should reduce metilxantine, which are contained into coffee, tea, chocolate and coke. Also alcohol and sugar should be abolished because they reduce magnesium and vitamin B, essential for women’s health. Moreover it’s recommended limiting the intake of milk and dairy products, meat (especially beef), saturated fats and above all salt.
Green light to foods which contain phytoestrogens, (soy, lentils and legumes generally, whole cereals, linseed oil, fresh vegetables and fruits), because it modulates the action of estrogen and therefore disturbances that precede the menstruation. These products should be consumed for more weeks, not only in the days before the menstruations.
