
We all have that friend who is always happy, smiling and roaring with joy, ready to take only the positive side of situations and people. Well, there is no wonder that they’re always healthy, because optimistic people have higher levels of circulating antioxidants than those who are not.Obviously optimism must also be combined to a good diet and the absence of smoke.
In the last years relationship between lifestyle and mood has been analyzed and it turned out not only that cuddling and happiness reduce inflammation, but also that the use of soft drinks increases the risk of depression, snacks make aggressive and having breakfast reduces stress.
It’s not clear yet if it’s positive thinking or acting for our own well-being which encourages health under both emotional and psychic point of view, probably the two paths coincide.
What’s for sure, is that we all should take in example from that friend!
