The heat of those days is challenging our best adaptation capacities, both under the physical and mental points of view. There are no excuses, the breakfast has always to be taken because too many hours from dinner have passed and our organism needs energy.
Bananas and apricots, like all the others season fruits, are full in potassium and magnesium, essential in order to resist the heat. Each time we eat for breakfast only coffee and some biscuit we raise the glycemia levels in our blood, which due to insulin causes a reactive ipoglycemia (few sugars into the blood).
Some example of summer breakfast?
A fruit (preferably seasonal), to be followed with a yogurt with some seeds (almonds, walnuts, peanuts..), a crepes spread with jam and coffee.
Or half a melon, two handfuls of wet cereals by vanilla soy milk, two slices of ham to nibble with some walnuts and organic almonds, with some tea or coffee.
Being wise combinations of carbohydrates and proteins, those examples won’t encourage the insulin overproduction and will maintain the body slight but well-fed and will keep at bay the mid-morning hunger and the bloating.
